In today’s corporate medical industry, finding old fashioned personalized healthcare care can be challenging. Recognizing this need, Michael and Lauren opened their private medical practice after moving to Hartland in 2020. Bringing their experience from a background in large scale healthcare operations, they have been able to bring big healthcare expertise into a small and personalized small healthcare practice experience for their patients. Their practice focuses on serving the Hartland and surrounding areas with primary healthcare services.
Dr. Cutting is dedicated to providing his patients with compassionate and personalized care. He takes the time to listen to his patients’ concerns and works closely with them to develop treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs and preferences. His patients appreciate his approachable and friendly demeanor, as well as his commitment to their health and wellbeing.
Lauren and Mike believed they could better serve the community by opening a practice based upon traditional services rather than affiliations with a large health network. In doing so, the hope is to develop a closer patient-doctor relationship with less third party influence, providing better patient centered care.
Michael Cutting, MD – Physician Provider
Dr. Michael Cutting is an Arizona native who received his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University with bachelor’s degree in Biology as well as a Master in Healthcare Administration at Northern Arizona University, completing his education at Ross University Medical School with Doctorate in Medicine.
Dr. Cutting is currently board certified in Internal Medicine and an associate faculty member at Michigan State University. Mike has 9 years of Internal Medicine experience in the state of Michigan, focusing on the adult population and complex chronic conditions including diabetes, heart disease, COPD, and many others.
Michael has also worked as an Urgent Care physician and is able to provide many acute care services.
Lauren Cutting – Registered Nurse
Lauren is a Michigan native receiving her undergraduate education at Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s in nursing. She has 8 years of clinical experience as a nurse, focused on neurology and orthopedics.
When not in the office, you will find Lauren and Mike with their four lovely daughters usually at a local park, zoo or one of the various museums around the state, or we might see you on the hunt at an area garage/ estate sale. Lauren also enjoys woodworking and interior design, and Mike is an avid gardener.
